El jabón íntimo de ácido bórico y alumbre se utiliza principalmente para equilibrar el PH vaginal y prevenir infecciones por hongos o bacterias; también ayuda a neutralizar olores. Es más cocido  con fines astringentes para reafirmar los tejidos vaginales temporalmente.
